Living with HeART:  Engaging Creativity and Contribution
A Winter Retreat for Women
Winter draws us inward to remember our deepest sources of creativity and renewal. Remembering takes time,
stillness, and preparation--gifts we seldom give to ourselves in the midst of busy lives. But these gifts can provide
awareness and appreciation of our own hidden treasures, inspiring us to action on behalf of what's truly
important to us.

Join us for this delicious and powerful retreat where you'll find a ready-made, nurturing, creative container in
which to find the heart of your inspiration and contribution. In a safe, supportive circle of like-minded and spirited
women, you will discover treasures that may have been hiding and enjoy having them lovingly reflected and
affirmed.

Together we will explore the winter season through meditation, contemplation, artmaking, and time in nature. We
will slow down, rest, and get quiet in order to reconnect to soul and purpose as we share and listen deeply with
each other.

You'll leave with:

Clarity about your own inherent talents and gifts, and your contribution as a leader and healer
A new sense of openness and possibility
Deeper intimacy with the natural world
New relationships worth sustaining
A powerful experience of rest, renewal and sanctuary
Practices for sustaining energy, presence and self-awareness in daily life

Your facilitators
Amy Livingstone, M.A., is a visual artist, graphic designer, and group
facilitator. In 2003, she founded Sacred Art Studio with the intention of using
her creative gifts in service to the healing of the earth. She holds
undergraduate degrees in fine art and advertising communications and was
awarded her Masters degree (MAIS) in Spiritual Traditions & Ethics with
honors from Marylhurst University in 2007.

A life-long creative, Amy discovered the artisanry of graphic design while
studying fine art and painting during her undergraduate years and
subsequently began a career that has spanned twenty years. In the early
years of her design career, she experienced several profound losses over a
short period of time which transformed her world view. It was through this
dark night of the soul that her spiritual journey began while searching for
answers to life’s greater mysteries, painting her heart on the canvas, and
later finding ways to be of service through volunteerism and activism.

Surrounded by a lush garden and many trees, Amy’s studio is a sanctuary
where the beauty and holiness of the natural world inspire her art. A
practitioner of earth-honoring spirituality and Buddhist meditation, she also
draws wisdom from numerous spiritual traditions in creating sacred circles
for those who wish to reconnect to their creative and spiritual essence.

Judy Todd, lovingly known as 'Scout', has been leading
NatureConnect Excursions for 10 years.  She has used  her
background in transformational education and her interest in
geology, history, literature, ecology, mysticism, archetypes,
and the indigenous and ancient arts to help shape each
excursion in each sacred landscape and season.

In her 60's, and a member of the Crone Tribe, Scout is helping
shape the way we think about place and our relationship to
Earth and all its creatures.  Her work with leaders, and women
leaders in particular, informs her commitment to engage each
participant in self-discovery and personal evolution as a 21st
Century awakened human.
